Moderate WooCommerce product reviews with your AI agent

Review queues pile up. WP MCP Pro lets an agent work through them with you: read what came in, approve the genuine ones, catch the spam, and reply as the store.

What you need

• WP MCP Pro, connected to your AI client, and WooCommerce active.
• A user with moderate_comments and edit_product on the products involved. Both are checked, so an editor who moderates blog comments cannot touch store reviews.

Read the queue

› Show me the reviews waiting for moderation, lowest rating first.

The agent calls woo-read with op reviews.list, filtered by status, rating, product_id or type. Reviewer email and IP address are never returned.

Moderate

› Approve the genuine five-star reviews and mark the link-stuffed ones as spam.

reviews.approve, reviews.unapprove (hold) and reviews.spam each run on the full review with its rating and verified flag snapshotted first, so rollback-operation restores it exactly and WooCommerce recomputes the product’s rating. reviews.trash is destructive: it is off until your site opts in with the wpmcp_woo_op_enabled filter, and needs confirm: true.

Edit and reply

reviews.update edits a review’s text and keeps its rating and verified flag. reviews.reply posts an approved reply as you; rolling it back moves the reply to the trash.

Undo

Every moderation change is one operation_id. Batch several with woo-write and one rollback-session undoes the whole pass. Restoring a review snapshot takes the same moderate_comments and edit_product, because it holds the reviewer’s email and IP.
