MCP for Avada (Fusion Builder)

Avada's Fusion Builder stores a layout as shortcodes in post_content with a fusion_builder_status flag in post meta. WP MCP detects Avada pages (by the flag, or by a [fusion_builder_container] shortcode on imported content where the flag was never written), reads the layout as a tree with a path per element, and writes one element operation or a whole layout. Untouched elements keep their exact markup, the builder flag is set, and Avada's per-page dynamic CSS is invalidated after every write and rollback so the page recompiles its styles.

What your AI can do

Real Avada (Fusion Builder) operations, every write reversible.

  • Detect Avada pages, including imported ones with no builder flag
  • Read a page's element tree with a path per element
  • Update, add, remove or move one element, or replace the whole layout
  • Invalidate Avada's dynamic CSS after writes and rollbacks
  • Roll back any layout write exactly

Example prompts

Just ask.

Is the homepage built with Avada?

Change the title in the first Avada container on /about.

Add a button element under the intro text on the services page.

Under the hood

The real calls.

wpmcp, avada

get-builder-content({ post_id: 70 }), element tree with paths

update-builder-content({ post_id: 70, builder: "avada", operation: "add", path: "0.0", element: {…} }), snapshotted, CSS invalidated

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Does Avada have to be active to edit?

No. Reads and writes work on the stored shortcodes and flag directly. It must be active for the pages to render.
