WP MCP 0.8.145: delete all plugin data on uninstall, and a WordPress 6.9 global styles fix
WP MCP 0.8.145 is out. Here is what changed in this release:
- New opt-in setting on the Connection screen, “Delete all WP MCP data when the plugin is deleted” (or define WPMCP_UNINSTALL_DELETE_DATA in wp-config.php): deleting the plugin then also removes its tables, settings, credentials and backup archives on every site. Off by default, so your data is kept.
- Turning it on also revokes the application passwords WP MCP issued.
- Fix: on WordPress 6.9, administrators without the unfiltered_html capability (multisite site admins, or sites that disallow unfiltered HTML) can save global styles again; palette changes were refused and rolled back whenever the styles contained a “/”.
Download it from the GitHub release, or see this release on the changelog alongside every earlier one.
